Odoemelam, Chiemela
Chiemela Steve has studied a B.Sc. in Biochemistry, where he researched the levels of residual cyanide and beta carotene in Cassava based products. He then obtained a Masters degree in Pharmacology and Drug Discovery at Coventry University in 2019, where he applied computational techniques to understand the allosteric binding site of glucagon-type 1 receptor.
Currently, he is a PhD researcher in the group of Professor Philippe B. Wilson at Nottingham Trent University, applying advanced computational and experimental techniques to profer solutions to chemical and biological problems. He is also an Hourly Paid Lecturer in the Biosciences department and a Research Assistant at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
